Question: I could really use some advise…I’m 25 and have just decided to go back to school. problem 1 is I cant afford it! problem 2 is I have no idea how to get in touch w/ the ‘right’ people to help me…I live in NY and would love some input! Thanks
Answer: Sometimes community colleges are the bridge institution for older students. The federal government gives out a lot of money through a form called the FAFSA, which any college can give you.
If you want to go directly to a four year college, you might need to take the SAT exam. Unless you are a genius, I would seriously encourage buying a book or two and studying for the exam before taking it.
Also on four year schools: buy a guidebook to college and get an idea of the different types of schools. .. which leads me to ask, do students usually study for the SATs in high school? My fianc
